Born in the chilly Hokkaido region in northern Japan to a Japanese father and Chinese mother, krage grew up in a household filled with music, including ample amounts of international songs. She developed a natural attraction to the art form and began singing herself while in junior high school. She caught attention after she started uploading videos of her singing to YouTube, with her acoustic cover of TK from ling tosite sigure’s “Unravel” serving as a breakthrough. She’s since focused on creating original songs featuring Japanese, Chinese and English lyrics, exploring the many moods of being young in modern times.
In April 2022, she debuted under Sony Music Labels with the theme song “HIBANA” for the TV drama “Hunting on a Lonely Hill.” In the October anime season, her ending theme, “Natsu no Yuki” for “Raven Of The Inner Palace,” achieved streaming success, significantly boosting her recognition. Debuting as the artist for the ending themes of two anime series simultaneously, “Solo Leveling” and the Japanese version of “Heaven’s Official Blessing Season 2,” starting January 2024, marks an unprecedented and exceptional recognition of her talents.
