We have finally drafted the rules and guidelines for our contest this year. We will post and upload all contest mechanics this week (after the election May 10, 2010 period), as of now we are finalizing it and looking on some changes on other contest.
The cosplay contest will have a lot of changes with the registration process and judging. The general guidelines are still the same, but we decided to change the format and never apply the old contest format we are using since year 2004.

In keeping with its credo to motivate Filipino individualism and passion, TRIBU now aims to harness the innate creativity of Filipino artists from disparate creative disciplines with TRIBUNG BAYANI, a competition that enjoins today’s innovators of art to visualize what it means to be a true Filipino innovator
The on-the-spot design competition will entail the use of a blank (un-designed) pair of TRIBU SHOEDALs which will serve as the artist’s canvas. Materials (including SHOEDALS) will be provided by TRIBU, though the artist is free to bring any art materials s/he desires to use.
Though the competition does not require purchase of a TRIBU product, pre-registration is strictly enforced as the competition is by invitation only. To qualify as a participant, you must be a professional active in any of the creative/design industries, such as but not limited to: advertising, fashion design, illustration, computer graphics, animation etc.

Create and design your cosplay inspired fashion! Create and Re-create character costumes into a wearable modern fashion.
1.This contest is open for beginners and amateurs in fashion designing.
2. Design should be inspired from any character costume in anime, comics, gaming, toys, superheroes and villains.
3. Actual fashion wardrobe should be presented on stage on June 14, 2009 at 4:00 PM
4. 1 entry per person only.
5. Sample artwork of your design should be emailed first at info@toyconph.com for approval. Containing your name, where it is inspired from and fashion art sketches design.
6. After being approve, you may now work on your entry and participants should be present at the event.
7. Participants should have their own models.

1. Create a fan film inspired by any existing local or international titles of anime,comics,games, novels, fantasy-scifi, or tv-movie.
Fan film can be in any style of comedy, action, parody and spoof, or in movie trailer style, commercial or movie.
Live action, Cosplay and animation are accepted.
