We are Suspended Animation Media (SAM)

Suspended Animation Media is a team of Filipino artists and one Latino.
It’s a studio dedicated to doing pre-production and concept design art for Film, 2d/3d animation, Cartoon, video game, comics, web design and more.

Empowered by our skills and talent, and fueled by determination,
The team of SAM aims to bring the most experienced
and skilled talent in the country, and together we will develop and
execute the optimum solutions in Pre-production

SAM is a place where imagination, creativity, expression and innovation is encouraged, nurtured and expected.

Cosplay Fashion Fantasy Contest

Create and design your cosplay inspired fashion! Create and Re-create character costumes into a wearable modern fashion.

1.This contest is open for beginners and amateurs in fashion designing.
2. Design should be inspired from any character costume in anime, comics, gaming, toys, superheroes and villains.
3. Actual fashion wardrobe should be presented on stage on June 14, 2009 at 4:00 PM
4. 1 entry per person only.
5. Sample artwork of your design should be emailed first at info@toyconph.com for approval. Containing your name, where it is inspired from and fashion art sketches design.
6. After being approve, you may now work on your entry and participants should be present at the event.
7. Participants should have their own models.

Criteria:
1.  Garment to be made must be an original piece. Hand or machine stitched or glued.
2.  Garment should not have been used or photographed previous to any other event like a Cosplay, fashion show, school project, exhibit, children’s costume party, tv show, internet social website and the like.

At last! I’ve posted this event and it appeared first in my blog, more updates will be posted soon and I suggest you watch Jack TV and visit their website for some information to be posted there.
They have various activity set-ups as well like Skatepark, Wall Climbing, Art doodle space, photo booth area, exhibits, cartoon screening and TOYS – COMIC Exhibit.

There’s also a cosplay contest and I like to invite everyone to join and participate in a cosplay contest portraying any of their favorite cartoon character of Jack TV or WWE wrestlers. 4th Toy Con Booth Babe Contest 2009

1. Booth exhibitors are allowed to join

2. Contest are for females only, and an official member of booth exhibitors or sponsors of ToyCon

3. Booth babes can wear costumes or in cosplay, in cute, or sexy outfit, too much flesh exposure are not allowed.

4. Our marshals will approach the booths for any possible entry of the booth exhibitor for booth babes.

5. judging of booth babes will be according to votes by customers and booth attendees

4th Philippine Fan Film Contest 2009

1. Create a fan film inspired by any existing local or international titles of anime,comics,games, novels, fantasy-scifi, or tv-movie.

Fan film can be in any style of comedy, action, parody and spoof, or in movie trailer style, commercial or movie.
Live action, Cosplay and animation are accepted.

3. Running time of each entry should not exceed 15 minutes. End credits are not included in the running time.

Toy Design Contest 2009

1. Design your own Toy Designer figure

2. It can be in vinyl, resin, plastic, plush or cardboard

3. Provide a toy design on paper with turn around illustrations or sketches, and also don’t forget to name your toy design.

4. Bring two mock up design of your Toy Design at the event. One mock up sample will be for the presentation of the contest and it will be returned to you while the other sample will be our copy for archiving.
