The 9th Philippine Toys, Hobbies and Collectibles Convention 2010

I just received a call from Jinky Salvador of Cutting Edge Productions, and the entire team like to thanks all bloggers and supporters for Dayo, and for this she told me that they are now preparing for the DVD and soon to be merchandise of the animated movie. Congratulations to Dayo and Cutting Edge Prod.

Also Dayo sa mundo ng Elementalia receives 4 awards from the Metro Manila Film Festival 2008, and I just got a big update few days ago during the awards night and thanks to Carl Valenzona for informing via text and just plurked the news for our online friends.

Here are the list of awards that Dayo received.

Comiket 75 ( December 28-30, 2008)

Today is the annual Comiket 75 or Comic Market 75 in Japan, and its the biggest convention and the mother breeding group for manga artist, previews and release of anime figures, merchandise, games and videos.

I have a friend who has a booth there and I haven’t got a chat with him for this year, and I also forgot to pick up my Hobby magazine that I requested from him last year. He offered this anime pantsu ( or panty) but I told him that I’m not interested on hentai stuff ahahhaha.

more pics at NEWS: TF Henkei Hound

This is my final report on Day 3 of our event, and the photo above is ME posing infront of the funny poster design I did for our event, the concept of villain characters in their toy figure wearing a Santa hat, the concept is that “there is always a good side in every bad guys”.

I arrived at around 3PM and I just missed the raffle and games for kids conducted by participating toy groups (which is I’m part of it) namely Toy Soldiers 1:18 ( GI JOE group club) and Transformers Philippines. The game is for the Bantay Bata children and the stage games includes funny games like you see in birthday parties, and also Transformers Ph. trademark game of Transforming speed contest. Prizes were given courtesy by the event sponsor and also by TFPH sponsor GreatToysonline.com .

I’m so tired today hahaha, and today is the day 3 aka last day of the toy fair as I blog this, and here is my report for the day 2.

I arrived in the venue and then I just forgot to bring the audio cd for the cosplay catwalk show, its a customized cd audio music for the background of the catwalk show, but then instead of buying a new cd, I immediately fired up my laptop and connect to the wifi network in the hall and download some cool clips that I will use for the show. I visited Super 8 and Tab’s myspace and download my favorite track “New York City”, and then I download tracks from the album Cyberia Mix, an OST from the anime Serial Experiements Lain, which I used the same bgm music during the 1st cosplay contest catwalk at the AnimeXplosion year 2000, then I found this remix of the Little drummer boy by Dense Modesto in my laptop, and other cool tunes from the OST of Initial D and Tokyo Drift.

toys..toys..are everywhere..yay!

I just arrived late and got stuck in the traffic in the middle of the metro, but all of my suffering under the heat and traffic pays off after I arrived inside our event, 3rd Toys and Collectibles Christmas Fair 2008, I was greeted by the Manila Toys and Gift Show organizers and I have told them that I arrived late ahhah, but then my comrades are there and told me to help them in the live collectibles auction. Cholo hosted the auction and some of the part of the auction is hosted by me, and because that I need to fix something in my booth, I left for a moment and meet my sister at the event to have a quick lunch. Then I went back inside the event and saw lots of items for the auction.
